• Classes are held Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45 pm (see back for calendar). If your child will be absent from class we ask that you call the school office (656-6917) after 6 p.m. that evening. If District 7 schools are cancelled because of weather, PSR is also cancelled for that evening.
  • Notes will be sent home as needed to keep our PSR families aware of special events and important information. If a family has more than one child in the PSR program the note will be sent home with the youngest child. They are also available on the parish web site,
  • Last year we started keeping an official transcript for each student which allows us to track a student’s progress on one document from K through 8th grade. Regular and consistent attendance is extremely important in your child’s faith formation, because of this importance it will be noted on the transcript along with the teacher’s verification of expected progress. These records will stay on file at the Parish Office. Parents may request a copy.
  • We are asking all Second Grade parents to submit a copy of their child’s baptismal certificate if their child was not baptized at St. Boniface. This will be kept on file.
  • Volunteer instructors are needed annually to staff each grade or to assist. What better way to share your knowledge of our faith and communicate it than this rewarding ministry? Volunteer instructors are required by the diocese to attend “Protecting God’s Children.”
    • Anyone interested in volunteering with the PSR program should contact Jennifer Hoeferlin at 692-0991 or

  • Arrival – Students line up in the gym by class. When the bell rings, students are dismissed to classrooms.
  • Dismissal – Kindergarten students are released to parents at 7:40 p.m. (5 minutes earlier than other classes). Teachers in First and Second grades release students to parents or older siblings directly from the classroom. All other students are released from class for parent pickup in the lobby or church parking lot. All students should use the Parish Center doors. We are asking all parents to PLEASE help keep our children safe by not allowing children to walk across the street in front of the school or walk through the parking lot without adult supervision.

We look forward to a wonderful year and pray for all our students, especially those preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.

Please note that if District 7 cancels school because of the weather, PSR Classes are also canceled.

PSR Parent Letters

Dear PSR Parents,

Just a reminder, we are holding our annual Personal Care Item Collection for the St. Vincent De Paul Society. We started collecting items this evening and will continue on Nov. 30 (We do not have class on Nov. 23)

This PSR service project provides needed items to local families in need. Through our help the St. Vincent De Paul Society is able to make life a little better for these families, and what a wonderful opportunity for God’s love to shine through us by caring for our neighbors.

The following items are listed according to grade level

Our Gifts

Kindergarten        toothbrush/toothpaste
First Grade            bath soap/deodorant
Second Grade      shampoo/conditioner
Third Grade           dish soap/cleaning supplies
Fourth Grade        toilet paper/paper towels
Fifth Grade            toilet paper/paper towels
Sixth Grade           cleaning supplies
Seventh Grade     laundry supplies
Eighth Grade        laundry supplies

Let us give thanks for what we have
by helping those in need…

Dear PSR Parents,

Thank you everyone for the donations for our St. Vincent de Paul Personal Care Drive!!

Our Annual Sock Drive will be held from Dec. 7 through Dec. 14.  We will be collecting new packages of adult socks for those individuals in need on Wednesday evenings in baskets placed in the main lobby of the school by the gym.

Socks are often the last thing people have the money to spend on. These people may be homeless, living in their car or living in poorly heated home. Please consider helping those less fortunate by donating to this wonderful cause. Socks donated will be given to the Breakfast Ministry program and other agencies that benefit families in need.

Not only are We Warming Feet
… We are Warming Hearts as Well!!

During this season of Advent may we always be ready and willing to make Jesus the center of our lives…

Our Annual Sock Drive is under way and continues through Dec. 14, which is our last PSR class until January 11.  We will be collecting new packages of adult socks for those individuals in need on Wednesday evening in the basket placed in the main lobby of the school by the gym.

Please consider helping those less fortunate by donating to this wonderful cause.

To all our PSR Families,

Thank you to everyone who donated to PSR’s annual sock drive. Your generosity is truly warming many hearts!

Also, just a reminder that we will not have classes again until January 11.

We pray that each of you has a Blessed Christmas and that the light of God’s love fills your New Year with joy and peace.

To all our PSR Families,

We will not hold PSR classes next Wednesday, Ash Wednesday.

We hope parents will take the opportunity to begin the season of Lent as a family and attend the Ash Wednesday Mass at 6:45 p.m.

Throughout the Season of Lent families also have the opportunity to focus on God’s gift to us, by attending Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent and spending time as families in prayer at weekend Mass and at home.
